Raptor Pro single-rotor shredders are designed and manufactured by the specialists of our company Aleko Machinery (Russia)
How does a single-rotor shredder work?
Single-rotor shredder is designed for shredding of any density and thickness plastic. The material to be shredded is fed into the shredder's hopper through the loading gate. The main working part of a single-rotor shredder is the shaft (rotor). The rotor has knives mounted on it, which carry out the grinding. The second important element of this mechanism is the press plate (hydraulic pre-presser), which moves back and forth, pressing the incoming plastic waste against the shaft. The shredded materials exit through a grid at the bottom of the shredder.
What can be shredded with the Raptor Pro single-rotor shredder?
The Raptor Pro single-rotor shredder can be used to process large plastic and polymer waste such as LDPE, HDPE, PP, PET, ABS, PS, PC etc. SPR series single-rotor shredders are successfully used for processing and shredding various waste materials such as plastic waste, sprues, pipes, woven bags, cables, wood, paper, municipal waste, etc.
Advantages of the Raptor Pro Series single rotor shredders:
Shaft
-
the rotor has high wear resistance due to its special steel construction. Hard alloy coating of the rotor increases resistance to damage when working with abrasive material.
having 4 working edges, the knives work for a longer time and are easy and quick to replace.
additional (side) blades prevent winding and accumulation of material between the jaw of the cutting chamber and the rotor.
rotor bearing housings are located well outside the cutting chamber for maximum dust/moisture protection.
the impact to the rotor when working on hard material is damped by the gearbox reactive thrust silent blocks.
Fractional sieve
-
diameter of holes in the mesh: 20-80 mm (according to customer's specifications)
steel thickness: 8 mm
fractional sieve is available in different designs to maximize the fitting of the material to be processed.
Gearbox
- Reinforced gearbox guarantees reliability under high loads
Stator knives
- stator knifes with vertical/horizontal adjustment option
Carriage
- hydraulic station with integrated cooling system
- efficient gripping: special stops on the carriage prevent the material from " torque" near the rotor
PLC control
-
automatic reversing in case of rotor jamming
carriage pressure control, depending on the load on the motor, to maximize the efficiency of the equipment
motor overload protection systems
Frame
- The frame construction is highly rigid and the cutting chamber walls are thick enough to last for a long time, even when working on heavily contaminated material.
There is a wide range of waste shredders on the market. However, many factories favor single-shaft shredders. This can be attributed to their ability to shred high-strength materials and to their ease of use.
