Recall that recently representatives of our company returned from a trip to Taiwan. And we have prepared for you a series of small reports from the manufacturing plants that we managed to visit.
First, we will tell you about the main purpose of the trip – the acceptance of the extrusion line on the territory of the manufacturing plant located on the island of Formosa.
Our client and business partner – Sentosa company from Barnaul – has become the proud owner of a very interesting extrusion line. This is a 3-layer ABA extruder for the production of flat thread.
The ABA technology has long been known on the market and has proven itself well on blow extruders for the production of plastic bags or liners. The use of ABA technology for the production of flat yarn for bags is not so widespread. There are several reasons. Among them – the AVA extruder is more expensive than an extruder with a single screw. Technologically, not all manufacturers can achieve uniform pressure and connection of the three layers without mixing in a block called a "Feed Block". Our Taiwanese partner has developed this technology well. The uniformity of the pressure can be estimated by the ideal thickness of the film (see video). The non–miscibility of the layers is determined by the so-called "color test", when a black dye is added to the inner layer, and a white one is added to the outer ones. As a result, such an extruder can produce a more durable, technological thread with a beautiful appearance and at the same time with a low cost.
The extruder, which was purchased by Sentosa, has an expanded configuration. Taiwanese augers are famous for their durability (the very first of the Taiwanese extruders supplied by Aleko has been working non-stop for 23 years on the production of flat thread for bags without replacing the auger). The inspected extruder is equipped with a melt pressure pump, a reducer manufactured by San Lung, a sensor for monitoring the thickness of the film and gravimetric dispensers "Aleko".
Currently, the extruder is being prepared for shipment to Russia. Wait for news about the launch of this machine in Russia.
