As you know, one of the directions of the Aleko group is the production of soft polymer packaging (PP bags, big bags, etc.), the production of which generates waste that cannot be reused in their original form, must be disposed of or recycled.
We have equipment for processing secondary polymers installed at our factory, which allows us to process the waste obtained during the production of polymer packaging, converting them into a secondary granule.
Using equipment for recycling polymers in our own production, we also supply it to our partners in Russia and CIS countries.
So, in March, Raptor Pro brand shredders were shipped and installed from our factory to existing production facilities, namely:
✔The Raptor Pro 40/1400 shredder was installed and launched at the manufacturer of soft packaging in the Belgorod region.
✔ In the Angarsk city district, the SRP 42/80/2 two-rotor shredder was integrated into a washing line for processing four-drop big bags.
✔In the Republic of Tatarstan, a manufacturer of plastic parts for mechanical engineering has installed a Raptor Pro 20/60 single-rotor shredder in its production for processing its own waste.
Thus, our partners, having become owners of our equipment, have reduced the amount of plastic waste entering the world ocean by 0.5%*.
Up to 2.5 million tons of plastic flows into it annually through rivers, namely:
✅208,333 tons of plastic per month
✅48,076 tons of plastic per week
✅6,849 tons of plastic per day
✅285 tons of plastic per hour
Taking into account the performance of the equipment supplied to our partners, the estimated waste processing at the production facilities of each of the partners was:
☑1095 tons of plastic waste per month
☑156 tons of plastic per week
☑72 tons of plastic per day
☑3 tons of plastic per hour
* approximate statistics are given, taking into account the installed shredders only in three cities of Russia for March. On average, our company can sell up to 120 shredders and crushers per year. This is 21% less waste in the world's oceans, and 21% more recycled garbage.
