Cascade strand type granulator model PLR 120/110 ST manufactured by Aleko Machinery is designed for processing HDPE, LDPE, PP, PS, PC, ABC plastic. In April and May, such machines were successfully put into operation in three cities of Russia at once: Rostov-on-Don, Kazan and Belgorod.
This technical solution made it possible to increase the production capacity of each of the customers by 200 tons/month of finished products.
Cascade type granulator PLR 120/110 ST from Aleko Machinery:
1. Designed for processing polymer materials such as: HDPE, LDPE, PP, PS, PC, ABC plastic, LLDPE. It is also possible to recycle waste with a large area of flexographic printing on the surface of products.
2. Consists of 2 cascades: main and auxiliary extruders, with screw diameters of 120mm and 110mm respectively:
a. the first stage is equipped with five, and the second with three temperature control zones, which allow you to keep the temperature at the set modes.
b. Screw pairs of the first and second cascades are made of 38X2MYA steel with nitriding of working surfaces.
c. the feed of raw materials to the first stage of the granulator is carried out by a loading device, using a feeding screw, which is regulated by a frequency converter.
The speed of rotation of the screw is synchronized with the material supply, thereby ensuring the convenience of the operator.
3. Each cascade of the granulator has its own slide filter with hydraulic change of filter elements:
a. there are 2 thermoregulation zones on each filter
b. the filters are equipped with pressure sensors, which allows you to control the pressure of the molten polymer mass and the degree of contamination of the filter mesh.
4. Both stages of the granulator are equipped with annular ceramic and micanite heaters, and gate filters are equipped with cartridge and flat heaters. The use of each type of heating elements ensures close contact of the working surface of the heater with the surface of the heated object, and therefore uniform heating of the working surfaces.
5. It has a capacity of 300 kg/hour.
